Oahu Maternity Photography | Sunset Shoot at Secret Beach in Aulani with Ben and Ana

I met up with Ben and Ana on the west side of Oahu, at Secret Beach near Aulani, for a maternity photo shoot surrounded by golden sunset light, calm waves, and soft ocean breezes. Ana is glowing in this season of life, and it was such a joy to capture her and Ben together as they prepare to welcome their little one.

What made this shoot truly unforgettable and special was that Ana wore the same pink pareo (sarong) that her mom wore during her own maternity photos years ago. When Ana’s mom saw the photos, she cried. There’s something timeless about seeing a daughter follow in her mother’s footsteps, especially in a setting as magical as Hawaii.

We kept things simple: natural light, soft tones, and the raw beauty of Oahu’s westside coast. No need for overcomplication—the light, the love, and the history behind that pink pareo told the story perfectly. Congratulations, Ben & Ana.
