A stunning Oahu Wedding in Black & White

Sometimes, the simplest edits are the ones that feel the most timeless. I second shot this beautiful private estate wedding in Diamond Head for a colleague Megan and I wanted to take a moment to relive some of my favorite frames in black and white.

There’s something about stripping away color that lets the emotion come through even stronger, the quiet looks, the laughter, the stillness in between. A black and white edit feels like a little time capsule: elegant, classic, and unbothered by trends.

This wasn’t my wedding to shoot, but it was a privilege to be there, camera in hand, and to notice the small in-between moments that made the day feel so special. Here are a few of my favorite frames, re-imagined in monochrome.
