Congratulations to Austin and Alycia! Their intimate wedding ceremony was held at the Hyatt Regency venue in Waikiki, Oahu.
Alycia is a first grade teacher in Illinois and Austin is an Athletic Trainer for the Chicago Wolves hockey team. They have two fur babies, a dog named Wrigley and a cat, Cami. They love to go on walks, try different restaurants and traveling to new places.
“Austin and I met at a high school football game when we were 16 and have been together ever since! (almost 10 years)”
They describe their ideal wedding as intimate, personal, and romantic (with a little side of goofy)
Tell us how you met and got engaged!
When Austin proposed, his friend called him while we were at our favorite restaurant and said he needed a jump at the local movie theater because his car died. We had to go across town to help him. When we got there, Austin asked me to grab the cables out of his trunk.
When the trunk popped open, I saw a white board and fairy lights. The board read “I will always keep my promises” because that is the exact spot we went on our first date as well as the spot he gave me a promise ring when we were 18. He promised we would spend the rest of our lives together.
Austin and Alycia describe themself as “goofy, we love to pick on each other, and we value our morning coffee time where we reflect on our lives together and talk about the future.”
