A Beautiful Reception at Halekulani Waikiki: Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Halekulani for a stunning reception in the heart of Waikiki. With over 175 guests in attendance, the evening was full of energy, laughter, and celebration. This was honestly more crazy than most weddings I shoot, the kids all had so much fun and made me miss being young again. 

Halekulani Hotel is known for its elegance and attention to detail, and it was the perfect backdrop for a bat mitzvah reception that felt both elevated and joyful. From heartfelt speeches to a packed dance floor, the night unfolded beautifully. As a Honolulu event photographer, large celebrations like this are all about balance. Capturing the big moments while never missing the quiet ones in between. Hannah’s reception had it all, emotional toasts, tears, nonstop dancing, and a room full of people to celebrate her.
